Why Providers Can’t Cancel Reservations Themselves

To protect the reliability of bookings and reduce last-minute disruptions, LuxuStars does not allow providers to cancel reservations directly from their dashboard.

Instead:

  • All cancellation requests from providers must go through LuxuStars staff
  • Approval is granted only in rare, verifiable circumstances (such as emergencies or force majeure events)
  • Providers must submit documentation to support the reason for cancellation

Why this policy exists:

  • It ensures a stable and trustworthy experience for guests
  • It prevents misuse of the system and protects provider reputations
  • It allows LuxuStars to fairly assess and document each case
